Rumors circulated early December 2011 that Pauleen and Vic were in a relationship. It was a shock to many since the age gap of the two could already pass for a father and daughter.

The rumor didn't die, though, but was even made more controversial with talks that Pauleen was being showered with gifts by Eat Bulaga!'s Bossing Vic.

Even Oyo Boy Sotto's (Vic's son with Dina Bonnevie) harsh tweet last December 4 was given a malicious interpretation by netizens. The words mukhang pera and lumalandi in his tweet allegedly referred to Pauleeen.

Pauleen Luna is Vic Sotto's New Love

Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna had been one of the hottest topics on the internet yesterday. It was after Ricky Lo, in his Philstar column, published an article that linked the two Eat Bulaga! hosts together.

The columnist's source confirmed that Vic and Pauleen are officially an item which makes the latter the new "first lady" of the said noontime show.

Some may raise their eyebrows at the relationship due to age gap and the fact that Vic is known for his relationships with his Eat Bulaga! co-stars. Before Pauleen, "Bossing" and Pia Guanio became a couple for seven years.

But Pauleen Luna's being linked to the comedian/host has been more shocking because she is so young. Young enough to be Vic's daughter. Even younger than Oyo Sotto, Vic's son with actress Dina Bonnevie.

The relationship hasn't been confirmed by either parties, but if it is true, I'm sure they would keep mum about it for a while, making the public get used to the idea of the two being a couple before being seen in public.

Pia Guanio is still among the hosts of Eat Bulaga! Although she's now married to her businessman husband, questions about awkwardness on the show (with Bossing's new and past love together in one show) popped up. Ricky Lo's source, though, says that there's no awkwardness at all.

But then I'm sure they would be compared. Perhaps would even be used to guess who Vic Sotto's future girlfriend would be. Do you see any pattern?
